Dear Colleagues and Friends,
The wonderful festschrift and event on 8 March have been called a belated celebration of my 70th birthday. I'm looking forward to seeing you all, but I wanted to make clear that I am not expecting, and do not want any presents! But if you do feel like giving something to celebrate the occasion, it would be lovely if you donated to Medecins Sans Frontieres instead.
